Hello,

I bought 2 Laserworld ES-100g , it was in January , thier price was around 250€ piece.
They should give 100mg green, 10k scan, no ilda input only dmx.

I have decided to go for dmx, since I did not need to make pictures on wall, I was happy with built in patterns.

I am Dj, so I am not really into lasers, I just bought this lasers to use them in gigs at school in smaller rooms , they looked so nice.

However , one of lasers output power lowered like twicely and its not that bright like it was before. I contacted seller ,but he replied that I should contact laserworld directly because he is not reponsible for it etc. I contacted laserworld , they told me that it was cause by bad using and I can send them laser back and they will repair ti for me for like 150eur+shiping fees... (lol thats actual price of this laser)....

So after that I decided to do some research on google to find out if I can repair it by myself. And i found out this forum.

So i am thinking that laser case and galvos are still pretty good too, so I wanna ask if it is possible to remove old failing green laser diode and replace it with new one or better with new red diode , that I would buy off ebay or some pretty trusted page that sells high quality lasers. Since I am not very into building lasers etc. (Never done this) so I wanna ask if its hard ( maybe I can achieve it with litle help from you).

And also another question if you know any supplier of good quality laser diods, but they should not costs too much. I was looking into kvant , becuase I live in same country. But they costs pretty much for me.

And last question , becuase I heard of analog modulation and TTL modulation. How do I know which one is built in my laser? and I think that I should go for analog modulated diodes , because I can use them in rgb projector later if I try to build or uprage it later.

Sorry for my nubish questions but its really hard to find some guides on forum.

Hi there!

I made a lasershow in LAstudio showrider designer, but when i play it back in Designer i get a Error message, it says " Exception: EListError, List index out of bounds (-2).
Sometime there is another number in the error message.
The show contains of 1 big ILDA frame with music...so nothing fancy. I also tried to split up the ILDA frame into smaller frames but then the error pops up also.

If i try to play back the show in the playersection of showrider the error pops up also.
The same error message every time..sometime it says (-2), (-3) or (-4).
When i fastforward the show a few frames and start from that position it plays fine.

Please can someone help me out??? i worked 3 whole days on this show :(.

P.s: I use the FB3 board with the latest firmware (7)

I just finished installing 445 into my projector but ran into a problem I hadn't thought about.

When I run just my LW 473 everything is fine.
When I run just my Die4Drive 445 everything is fine.
BUT when I tun them with the MOD lines tied together i can tell that there is a significant power drop on my LW 473.

Buffo had commented in another thread of mine that "the input impedance on that driver is a little low, and that's pulling down the voltage on the modulation input to both drivers."

and then he posted this circuit

http://www.photonlexicon.com/gallery...uffer.bmp.html

Basically this is where I get stuck. I have no idea what that schematic says or waht is does but I know it will solve my problem.\

I'm looking for someone who would be interested in building this circuit for me. I can pay whatever you think would be fair.
the only ting I would like to see different from that schematic would be the board should be 2 channel (445 and 660) and needs to run off the +9v supply I have (NOT +-9v)

Please, anyone interested PM me or respond here.

Thanks for taking the time to read all this*retardo

Some time ago I made a cue for LivePro using Showtime. Since then (due to Windows failing as usual :D) I managed to loose the original file and only have the cue in my LivePro workspace. So now I have forgotten how I made the cue and have no way of reverse engineering it... :(
It is a simple bunch of beams continuously scrolling left to right. I have tried several different ways to achieve the effect again and am having no luck, which is annoying, as it originally took minutes to create in the first place...

Hi,

Bought a fairly abused NLD 250 LDRRGB Disco Series laser on the cheap! ("Oh why" i here cries from a far!)

Actually it works very well when running from LivePro. I then proceeded to try and get it working with DMX but to no avail. After removing the casing i found that someone had (mercilesly ripped the still beating) removed the DMX board from the unit.

A few of my many questions are as follows:

1. Can i buy a DMX board for the FB3? How much etc.

2. I have a small black Cypher light (DAC?) box that also has 3 pin in/out DMX sockets how do i get this to understand DMX does anyone know how to change the channel settings?

Also i have a dodgy X axis Galvo sometimes i switch the laser on and get a brutal clicking sound from it! Then if i wiggle the connector it jumps into life. Any tips on loose galvo connections?

Sorry for the question overload thanks for your time.
