OMG lasers and airports
a few days ago a large promoter just asked me to do an outdoor laser show in asia,
well after a bit of investigation it turns out the show is facing an airport....
hmmmm i thought....... now that sounds like a barrel of fun....
took me a long time to explain that money wasn't the problem, or the 8 hr drive with heaps of gear,
lasers pointed at airports....(he wanted watts) finally he understood that we would all goto jail.

Get them to re-arrange the venue so the stage is at the other end. Then the lasers will be aimed away from the airport. I have managed to get organisers to do this before and have used 5W argon within 1 mile of an airport with full CAA approval.

Wow, impressive... I have a Client, right now, that wants us to give them '30 Days on the Show Balance' (!) (...and with no Deposit... it's a 'holier-than-thou' University) - - do you think you could 'work on them' for us?

I suppose it all depends on how badly the client wants the laser.
If they are serious, (and their plans are at an early enough stage) it can be done relatively easily.
