The power supply designed into this meter is built for World Wide use
and requires no adapters to use it from 100 up to 240 volts at either 50 or 60 Hz. It incorporates a transformer less design by utilizing all switching
    supplies in the power circuit.

The entire meter uses only 60ma in operation and generates no wasted heat
so it can be used with a car adapter or battery pack as described in Jayrobs
review. In which on AAA battery power would run for 20 hours!

I don't approve of you selling Kenometer Lite clones, how about making a meter of an original design?

    Default Clone

This meter is of MY own design
I have never seen a Kenometer!

I got a great deal on Thermopiles and created this
    meter around it

You're about 6 months behind on that.... I bet the internal construction is 95% identical on the critical components.

I KNEW this would create a shitstorm but you were beaten to the idea months ago

90% of this meter is in the thermopile.. all you really need is a voltmeter to read them. The thermopile is calibrated to 0.1V/W. For an extra $50 or so buying this complete system is a pretty good deal IMO. They do look quite nice.

@Mario: I wouldn't worry too much. The new Kenometer is WAY nicer than this or pretty much any hobbyist-built meter.

The only thing more "complete" about this system is that it comes with a tripod. Some of those who wanted to build their own meter themselves received the components to get their meter earlier.

The heads are $60, plus whatever you add on does not come out to a good deal when you could get a Kenometer Lite for $150.

nothing special here as far as I'm concerned just a blatant copy of something I've abandoned a while ago. Heck you've even expressed a desire to copy my Kenometer Pro's with graphing and MCU.

I missed the $60 heads.. The cheapest ones I could find were around $230 brand new.
