Bump... We got 1600 users on right now, a new record of over 1700; 1200 of the users on now are guests. WTF is going on that I am unaware of? Or is Doc's mix that good?

you get scared to easycome spend some time. She is just truthful blunt and almost 100% correct all the time. If you ask a question she have always given me a great answer. Bump.... We got 1831 users on right early this morning.... 1513 was guest.
At the end of all I think there are so many users because PhotonLexicon Forum is the best in the whole web.
Personally I think it is not so important the guests number or the registered users number....
The very important thing is: we are the number one! (numbers prove it)....
Sometimes the answers to difficult questions are just the easiest....

It almost seems like the automatic log off time has been extended on the server. 1500 guests seems like a lot to me compared to what we usually see. 300 members on at the same time is a lot also...

This started happening about 6 weeks ago on a forum I admin (vbulletin). Next thing we have hundreds of new 'members' selling loans, Viagra etc etc etc. There seems to be some new found vulnerablity in the registration check; as a temporary measure we have had to resort to manual registration approval.
