It was an honor to spend the weekend with so many great people. Like Tammy said, everyone was smart AND nice. You never know what you're getting into when you fly 3000 miles to meet a bunch of people you met on the internet , but this is a solid group. I can't thank you all enough for sharing your talent and time. I know about a 1000 times more about craft and industry than I did a week ago.

Mondo thanks to Buffo, rgb-gas, mophead, laserman532, and everyone else that worked their butt off to make this happen. Thanks to dsli-jon for the bounce mirrors and Spec for the help with my 445 project. Gary's Spaghetti and Bill's Pangolin demos were quite helpful as well.

Check out the cast of characters in this cool panoramic of back stage during the raffle.

    Take care,

    Hi all,

Yes, I had a great time.

Kudos to Adam for making it happen, and to Aaron for getting all of the equipment working together for the big shows!

It was also great to see all of the classic PL people and new faces as well.

Can't wait for the next event!

I gotta tell you though, Frank, your RGB and mobo's were just nuts! GREAT job!! i may have to start a CT. Lasers in miami!! How about Miami Lasers??

It was great to see so many people come together for 3 days and not one single atitude clash or problem or anything!

Many special thanks to Adam for planning it. Doug who cooked all the food and i believe his wife (or girlfriend) who was also a pleasure to meet!

Seriously, everyone had some special part in making this is success. It was a pleasure t be a part of it!

We do need an awards thread though. So everyone can see who won what.

I made it home thanks to marioMaster, and made it there thanks to cfaverau (or however you spell that)

I lost MY CAR on the way there, threw a rod 4 hours into an 8 hour trip.. that sucked... i now have no car but i did have a great time..

I also had a great time in James room .. i tuned his galvo amps and aligned his lasers. we had a pretty good party in that room. i hope that in the future everyone is able to let bygones be bygones because you guys missed out on one hell of a projector.. dual 405, dual 532, dual 445 and dual 650...

it is 2 words but on the award it is just one word.
i guess because it is meant as a joke anyway GhettoFabulous.
i just thought it was funny because, i still have my laser on a piece of wood, with no surroundings.
and that is why i got the award as a joke.
    God bless.

thanks, I am just happy I was able to get it all together and get good feedback and I think impress some people who I always considered "unimpressable"

Miami Lasers is a cosmetic surgery/vag burner place... how about South Beach Lasers?

Default The best laser show ever

It was great to put faces to all the forum names, to see an event put to gether like this, to get all the tec knowledge, and all the goodies for sale (Got three 1w 445nm diodes "hackzaw1", laser power meeter "Dr lava", Knife edge arry and cooling fan from "SPEC". Having Bill from Pangolin and Marc from C.T. Lasers review my master peace "she's got the look" and stating that it is a good production and that I show good potential in the industry, that alone made the hole trip toltaly byonde worth it!!! The member "ALLTHAT WHICH IS" said he would video tape "she's got the look" and post it for me for all to see on the forum, looking foward to that!! My wife who is blinde finaly got to see what a beam show is and was realy impressed and like them, she has very limited vision and only has perifell vision as limited as it is, saw and was glued to the beam shows "UPPER balkany" any light she can see is a real treasure to her!!! THANK YOU ALL for making her vist a maximum visual over load she will never forget!! she liked all of you guys and wants to do it again ! From Casey Stack to the never ending "question kid", every body that had a laser pointer mindlessly shined on any thing and everything, even at the returant, seminar, outside, inside, hotel and even adding to the beam show from the auddance including me all share the joy of a bright shinney point of colored light that we can wiggle around shows the common bond to the love of the LASER !!
Most of all, out of all the things and people at SELEM event my greatest plesure was to meet and talk with ADAM "Buffo" who has been my self proclamed mentor to me and my developing show skills. Your the greatest Adam ! I don't know were you find the time to do what you do! Your the man! Me and my wife enjoyed our selves. ALLTHATWHICHIS put one one of the most sickest beam show thier at the event! a real pleaseur to meet you all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!
