Ooh i completely forgot, ofcourse i will bring my Matilda, the ILDA Buffering and splitter interface that Rob Stanwax and Daniel Briggs built.
It has 1x input and 5x Ilda output and is fitted in a nice box.
So we can hookup multiple projectors without loss of signal by using the Matilda instead of the loop through.
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

also pointers above 5mW can harm people therefore they fall under weapons and so are not allowed.
except if you have a license for it.
to have pointers above 5mW legal you should have permission of or be a LSO (laser safety officer) and you need to be in a controlled envoriment (lab etc.) where the safety is guaranteed.

You are incorrect, you are referring to the regulations in the USA.

    Hi Borgqueenx,

The fact is that 1,4watt pointers are dangerous!!!!
I see no reason why a person should have them.
I can't think of a reason where you could use it.

That pointer is dangerous at a distance that you can't see with your own eye's.
So how would you know if you are using it safe?

If I found such a pointer on a party where I am responsible for lasering, I would confiscate the laser, call the police and get that person arrested for possession of a weapon.

Some people on this forum literary wrote the book about lasers and safety. Please respect there answer.
You ask is it illegal? Yes it is. Defined in a European law which the Netherlands made active last year.

    That's not the sad thing.
The sad thing is that yet another LPF "immigrant" has made it to our fair shores and only reinforced the stereotype of a typical LPF forum member.

    Hey ho ..............

Please, shut up. You do not know anything about me.
    @cyberbobz:
Well i dont want to go to much offtopic...lets just say im sad this stuff is not allowed.
What the fun is of 1.4w 445nm? Well probaly as much fun as you have with 1~5w projector lasers wich are just as dangerous to the eye. I like burning stuff with it and pointer it at stars.
Again i dont misuse my pointers. But illigal is illigal unfortunatly. And im very sad about that. Stopid laws...

If you point at stars then you likely can do that near home *or in your garden people won't mind*
For burning stuff also in your garden or house.
There is no reason taking a pointer constantly with you.
As long as you don't do that and don't take it in public places *and don't point at planes*
    You should be fine.

    But please obey the law.
Also a laser projector is dangerous.. true..
But they have safety measurements to it and there are safety rules that need to be followed.
Basicly a kitchen knife can be dangerous too If you are retarded enough to stick it in your hand.

Now don't get my wrong.. I try to keep neutral.
But the law is the law.. Laser pointer is battery powered.
This doesn't mean we are saying that you are a person that points in someones eyes
Also keep the post a bit nice please.
