    Correct!

According to some EU legislation published in 1999, since 2002 it has become a legal requirement that all consumer goods sold in the EU must have a minimum of a 2 year warranty.

I would be highly surprised if a oem laser module would fall under consumer products.

Nice little module Edison but the capscrews holding the cover down are a bit of a needle in the eye

You have a point there but i have seen allot of modules with big beams at aperture, aluminium internals instead of brass, aixiz mountjes, no tec cooling etcetera. So i think it,s not really an issue i hope. However i will do my best to find some nicer ones as i am a perfectionist.

Great then the next time i will buy a CNI from you then. For building my projectors. Or the laserwaves from rob because they have the same beamheight as my module 29mm

I have looked at those but i think the head is just to big. The head from the ones i use is 5.5mm but just to make sure let me know where i can buy them so i can see if i can ice the cake with those

You must admit... the cap screws look a lot better than a
big blob of Hot Glue...Attachment 20982

Or you could contersink the cover and use a Flat head
    screw..

here are some pictures of the spot at 13meters. Its a square spot and is 16 till 17 mm at 13 meters. The beam is 3.5mm measured at 10 cm from the aperture. Divergence is average 1mrd. I can customize it but i will match it with the chinese greens like laserwave and CNI. 1.3 mrd seems to me quite good to match most greens but that,s of course a personal choice. The square should be 19-20mm at 13 meters.

Because i have bought more then 30 lenses to test on the blue diodes and tested them also on the red Loc diodes i know wich lenses to use in my upcoming quad.

The beamheight is 29mm to match with CNI and Laserwave.

I will post some pics of the 16 modules tommorow
