Tom
you might get some interest if you have any info on a lens combination that will tame
the fat beam that these diodes produce ? pm me if you want.
there was a long wait for andys group buy that fell through because he was so busy so people might be a bit wary now
have you had any luck sorting the beam out ??
only with colimator not enough to get out nice beam.
With optic correction will be works fine. tested .
Tom
Any chance you can show us what optics are neede to correct the beam please
I may be interested pending the results of this discussion.
-oops, old thread. n/m.
Nevermind (my request in your PM, Tomeeii) I found the datasheet:
http://www.mitsubishichips.com/Globa...20g72_1074.pdf
How much in $USD + shipping = total?
@Mike: Did the other one ever pan out?
@badger1666
Did you ever get the beam taming info for any of the Redrumours floating about here?
Cheers
No i did not, proberly because there is nothing
Or we would or heard about it by now
When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.
Yea, this is an old dead thread; these diodes never did appear in public... I really think knifedging a stack of 660s and adding a few 640s in, along with a telescope is the way to get big power in reds at the moment.
