Default 4" Bounce mirror group buy

    Hey guys,

I have been working to get a fine adjustable bounce mirror design manufactured. This is a design with fine adjustment via 3 wing nuts on the rear of the mirror.

Anyway, I have received prices for all the bits and pieces,

If we can get interest in 50 bounce mirrors, they would work out to $45AUD a mirror
If we can get interest in 100 bounce mirror, the price would come down to $40AUD a mirror.

plus GST if its a Australian sale.

Do we have interest? Ill try to get a render of the design when i have some spare time.

I need some, but was looking at much less through http://www.frontsurfacemirror.com/BounceMirror.htm

Any chance of getting the cost down?

Also, what mounting method are you thinking?

Those mounts you have linked to do not have a method to fine adjust.

This design is very similar to what I'm talking about

Hey Dave some places include or offer a clamp (OSLS 9.95usd). Will these have anything like this? Still the deal sounds fantastic so I'm thinking 4-6units depending on all the details.- jimmy

    Hi Dave,

    Some food for thought:

    1. AS/NZ 2211 requires the mounts to be mounted such that if the locking screws get loose the mirrors will not move such that the beams hit the audience. I can send you the exact wording if you like.
    2. It would be good if you could tech-screw mount with a drill without having to remove the mirror out of the way. The photos you posted look like the mirror will be in the way regardless of it's adjustment. How about a mounting bracket that provides mounting holes above/below the mirrors?

I would love to come up with a way that the mounting bracket swivels around over the mirror for transport, providing a protective barrier, if not dust barrier also.

dnar. All you need to do is unscrew the bracket from the mirror, screw the bracket to what ever substrate you are fixing to. And then fix the mirror back to the bracket again.

count me in for 2 def and maybe 4.

Yeah and thats exactly what I want to avoid.

If you have to remove and refit between drilling, up a ladder or scaff, times say 8, that's a pain.
