    Dave,
    Be more specific. Do you mean a diode or a methodology? Are you also under a NDA or can you give some links or a time frame? There seems to be a theme that runs thru all the threads pertaining to the red dilemma; that all we need is a magical new diode and then its all over. The search for better lasers won't end with an improved diode or better optics. For example, just because the 445 diodes were a major leap forward, would a low divergence/4W/445 be ignored? Any information that you have will be helpful, but the search will continue from there and that's good.
