Default Nike Soccer Commercial, Free to trace, remake

Here's an 3D shadow art remake of the nike Soccer commercial
Now also uploaded in 640x480 avi on the Photonlexicon ftp
    in: /Laser Shows/ILDA Frame Shows/Masterpj/Trace Content

    720P for best tracing experience
There are 2 scene's missing, which Im fixing at the moment.

    Original video:

Im also working on some normal citizen models.
I already got a stick figure which works best for big scene's with multiple characters.
I have to adapt the ball animation to the size of those new models.

Rip it from youtube and trace it, Free to spread, feel free to upload the result of the trace

that's pretty sick! How did you do it?

And it kinda looks like a soccer commercial... since you don't ordinarily kick a basketball around lol

Well that's true... But it is the basketball commercial.
As you can hear the sound sfx sound like a basketball instead of a foorball.

    How did I do it
I have this program called MMD
*Stands for MikuMikuDance <= I know name is rediculous*
Well I was looking on the net and finally found this file with very hard searching.
    *tried to get it before*

There were 30 .pmm files *which are project files.
Normally you have 1 project file... not 30

All the 30 project files were damaged... for each model in every scene I had to manually reselect them *only getting the japanese names, I then had to select the same model each time *for every scene over and over*
I had to highlight all the keyframes each time per model and then save it.

Textured the models back and placed in a sepparate map.
    I Retextured the ball green.

When doing 1 PMM I kept that project open and deleted the orignal model, Loaded the black model and inserted the keyframe *watching I have it starting on timeline 0

Then for each .pmm file I had to disable:
    - Disable Self Shadows
    - Disable ground shadows
    - Change the screen resolution to 1680x1050
    - Render with the x264 codec

All this had to be done 30 times
    Yes really.

30 times over and over, this one was a pain.

    Thanks for showing your interest.

    I really apreciate It

the movie did not do it for me. but i have three copies of the book and have been through them 4-5 times each

tip1: forget about the movie, it only covers 1,5 of the books. just read the books. there are 3,5 books you haven't explored yet

monty pythons is a whole different story. And the holy grail is just a comedy. Watch "The life of Brian". But watch it carefully. End of story

tip2: let's stop spamming or admin will rip our balls and feed them to the dogs
