Default Coming Soon... a PC Data Logging addition for your LPMs

We have been working on designing a way to add PC Data Logging to any
older non-data logging LPMs that uses a LED or LCD Digital Panel Meter that
has a 1mV resolution. That is to say the DPM can read in mV increments..

We hit a snag on the weekend and therefore we aren't quite ready yet but
the single channel DL-Module™ should be available within 2 weeks...

    1) It can be used to add Data Logging to the old Kenometers that use the surplus
Coherent heads and the Kenometer Lites that use the surplus OPHIR heads..

    2) It can be used to add Data Logging to the nospin 5Watt LPM...

    3) It can be used to add Data logging to the ALPHA LPM...

    4) It can be used to add Data Logging to our own limited edition 5Watt LaserBee LPM

    5) If you have a calibrated Thermopile Head that outputs 1mV/mW you can add
Data Logging to it to make your own LPM...

    Here are some more details.....

The little red PCB is the Prototype of the DL-Module™

I'll update this thread as more information becomes available...

wouldn't it be infra-nice to be able to data-log temp, amps and mW at the same time (over a period of time)? just a thought... i mean ok, mW are nice but not really usefull by themselves (at least to me)

Does your LPM read Temperature and Amps besides Laser Power in Watts....

    well, it doesn't

but it would be really interesting if there was one... (thinking something around the lines of more experienced guys... circuit-wise etc etc)

I have my own board that I use to log optical power, voltage, amperage, and temperature (using a thermistor), however I don't currently have any plans to make it commercially available. Maybe I'll post the schematic one day.

    Sorry for the thread jack
