Well if it were anyone else that had posted it I would probably question it as well but the guy is a pretty straight shooter.

They are pretty easy to get power out of, the one I picked up from you has been to 2.9W, just haven't pushed it yet till I put it on a TEC.

Nice. He also said that he was using this lens which was about an extra 50mW difference over a G-1/2 at 3W.

    Hi all,

DTR is very helpful, providing lots of tech support & answers to my many questions.

I am building a 445nm laser module based on one of the 12mm Combo modules he sells.

As it is going to be the B in a RGB lasershow projector, I need capability for continuous duty cycle.

DTR helpfully suggested that the laser diode module would benefit from cooling, & the FlexMod P3 is easier to heatsink rather than a tiny driver meant to go in an Aixiz module.

I am trying to find a supplier for the fan cooled finned heatsink in DTRs photos & video. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also anyone recognise the laser power meter shown? Is it a Ardinuo module/shield?

    Hope someone can help!

    Many thanks,

    Simon B.

Try these, they also have 3mm threaded holes for mounting 40mm fans on top.

I got mine here but I think he is out of them.

I have really relied on mine for testing modules as it is really easy to swap modules in and out quickly.
