Dutchlem Ilpendam 2011

Hi Guys,
McCarrot and Me are planning a DutchLem on saturday 29 october 2011.

The door will be open from 11:00 till 00:00/02:00

The program:

10:00-11:00 venue opens for a select few people who are willing to help.
11:00-13:00 venue open for eveyone, time to pick a table an show your stuff.
13:00-13:30 lunch time. Lunch will be included with the enterance fee.
13:30-17:30 more tinkering and laser showoff time.
17:30-19:30 get your equipement rigged for the lase-off, this whould also be an excellent moment to eat dinner across the street or drive to the kfc or MCdonnals ( 5 minutes away)
19:30-20:00 we will do some MPE measuerements, to make sure the show is pleasent to watch.
20:00-21:00 playtime / livepro jamming
21:00-00:00 lase off, we will be playing lasershows on as many projectors as we all have.
00:00 the end of hopefully another successfull lem.


During the day no audiance scanning will be allowed!!

For lasers above 500mw you want to use for audiance scanning, we will stick a divergence lens to the aperture which you can loan for free that day.
For lasers above 1,5w you will not be allowed to audiance scan. The venue is too small (unless you can sow you lowered the power in the audiance area). This cause we want everybody to see the road on the way back home


We charge an entry fee of 10€.. But.. If we find a sponsor

The Bar is open for drinks. (not included, 1,30€ a drink)

Dammit, you beat me to it... I wanted to get back to the South of the Netherlands for the next NetherLEM, and possibly look into a conference centre of sorts. Makes it a bit more fair on everybody's logistics since people from down here need to move to the North every time.

I would personally like to see a more public event (more like a trade show/conference) where the laser display industry can be introduced to the general public. Even though this may mean less tinkering and little audience scanning, the event can be separate from the existing LEMs.

Hehehe somebody needs to be the first.

But to be honest, what you mean about for the general public, is better to organise as an separate event, cause than you need to motivate other people outside of the laserworld to show up. In case of resellers, lems whould be best, but for commercial ends, everyone needs to profile there own company, so to say.

There is little room on a lem for that.


But the other question , do you have the intention to come?

maybe i want to buy my second projector if someone comes with a used projector he doesnt want anymore for a nice price.
The only thing i want in it, is divergence control, so i can finally do some crowdscanning.

Good idea.
The 20th anniversary of my Lanparty will be December 1-5....
Other than that: NO PLANs yet.
Very cool, liked the location a lot last time.
And it's relatively central (people like Johan from Friesland have to drive just as far as Stoney3k), so GO GO GO!

Count me in, for now i will bring: 1.7W RGB and 2 greens around 1W and 2 FB3's and 1 Easylase.
Hopefully then: 1.7W RGB + 3.5ish Watt RGB+ 2x green/blue 2W ;-) 2FB3s and maybe an LD2000 ? Who knows ;-)

Are we all using standard ILDA ? So we can run my Mathilda ILDA distributing box ? (1 ILDA in 5 ILDA out ?)
