Aside from "Protection from Ultraviolet light"? You'll have to state the context.

    Cool

Where was this "UV Protection" discussed? Was it in reference to the laser driver? In that case, it might have been for "under-voltage protection", meaning that the unit would power off if the supply voltage dropped too low.

"Ultra-violet light protection" doesn't make any sense when discussing a laser, unless it happens to be a laser that produces UV light to begin with. (Some argon lasers are fitted with UV optics, and blu-ray diodes produce light at 405 nm, which is close to the boundary between visible and UV light.)

    Thank you.
it is 'UV protection on the output". What does this mean?

    mmm.....
I feel very confuse about this reference to a laser projector.

well then, maybe your customer means IR and not UV. better clarify it with him, or send him a tube of sun-cream

didn't know you were a commercial dude... i thought you were a noob like me, just too bored to use the search function
