    Default Flash animator for hire

    Hi everyone.

I can make flash animations pretty easily for anyone who is interested in hiring me for whatever kinds of laser shows you need animations for. I was told the pros on here use Pangolin's Flash-to-laser plug-in. I'm not expensive because I don't consider myself any good. But I'll let you guys the be judge of that. Here's a few things I've done recently

This one I made for a kid that was "trolling" around
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Projects/bloompyle.swf

I made this one for a auto body shops site
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...tion%20sfx.swf

Made in about an hour to challenge a dare
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...else%20Fin.swf

An old old old animation redone with a laser
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...gone%20Sig.swf

A request from a guy I would never work with again
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...Redo%20sfx.swf

Another request from an lpf member
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...eath%20FIN.swf

My personal comic character I made in the late 90s (he has horrible luck)
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...flip%20fin.swf

Made for a good friend of mine
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...mMeter%204.swf

    Laserslug himself (dont ask )
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...you%20fin3.swf
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...ug%20Laugh.swf
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Projects/LaserSlug.swf
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...lugAproves.swf
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...LaserSlug2.swf

    Someones sig I animated
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...20ANIMATED.swf

    other stuff
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...nce%20test.swf
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Proj...ject%20red.swf

Many of your animations contain raster. this doesn't work.
Not many people use pangolins lc-flash actually.
I do use it from time to time but the amount is still not much.
On top of that, most of the time the flash animations require extra treatment.
let me check if i have a cool example.
You really have to cut down on complexity for the complex ones too.
if you really want to get in to this, i'm willing to help.

here you go, one of my examples which is included with the LC-flash tips and tricks guide written by me:
    https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Flash...swf?w=ae3c19be
(right click the flash and click play please)

What i do if i need advanced drawed flash content I either attempt to do it myself or let some of my friends from japan attempt it.
(quite a lot of japanese artists are really good at drawing). Though if you are not a known person or not a friend of them they can be more expensive.
    They are really fast though.
Anyway spacejay you will need to be carefull on amount of points *flash vector points* when drawing as these determine if your flash will convert well and not only the looks of just the flash will determine that.

Oh and just for fun: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Flash...swf?w=1bbe9e25
I'm still trying to find easy ways to push up the complexity of flash animation for LC-flash.

Hey PJ hose links are bad. Try using dropbox's menu options to copy and paste rather than saving the link on the image itself. I have the same issue with that too

    Good or bad thing?

EDIT: I just learned about raster and vector graphics. It's amazing what experience will teach you yet also I had no idea what any of it was called. Yeah I can do without the bitmaps easy. I just used the bitmaps to keep the video from playing slow. Whenever I draw a detailed picture on flash it plays really slow. I can do simple images to complex ones in either frame by frame or using the programs functions. Let me see those examples Masterpj so I can see what you guys expect.

I have no clue where ths menu is... just got dropbox...
I tried this, does this work? https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Flash...=ae3c19be&dl=1

anyway when it comes to flash animation my favourites are: albatrosicks and IOSYS. both make the best quality flashes in the world.. http://dagobah.net/flash/over_the_star.swf
way to complex for laser guaranteed at all times

It's ok Masterpj. Are these the kind of animations you guys want for lasershows? I made two different versions

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5992011/Ligh...ct%20laser.swf

    You don't need the tails.

Of the 2 the second one is the better one. Essentially with lasers you can't fill in with colour so you need outlines and let the colour of the line do the talking.

This is a Pangolin one (I watermarked it) to make it harder to copy illicitly:

That's about as complex as you can get.

Many laser animations are much simpler outlines.

The more complex it is the lower the frame rate and in turn the more flickery the animation appears.

This one here cheats on the detail. The white scruff of the neck is just a kink in the main line, as are the talons on the back of the feet and the feet themselves. Lasers draw lines very well but don't cope well with multiple sharp turns, double lining etc. The rule is KIS (keep it simple).

When I said the above is a complex example I meant it. The 2nd light sabre you drew is exactly what is needed except you don't really want the trailing effect.
