it looks decent but we would need more info a link with details can help us judge.
We also would need to see the inside for a true value.

Of course I a, serious; if it is not varianced for use in the United States, members here should know that as it is illegal to import an unvarianced projector into the US.

i thought it was legal to import them, as long as the product is then modified into a varianced projector with the right safety equipment before use.

It is legal to import components without a variance. The photos above are of a finished product, which is not legal to import or exhibit unless a variance is applied for and granted by the CDRH.

Yeah, but do you really have to ask? Aren't they all sans variance?

Cases look nice, very much Kvant style. Question is of course do they match Kvant for quality and thickness of plate?

As completed projectors, there are of course a whole load of other considerations as to quality but they look nice.
They say video games are bad for kids but if Pacman had affected us we'd all be running around in dark

yes, they do look nice and well built. i would definately consider them if i was in the market for a ready made proj box (based on the specs of the website, too)

hey whitelight, i think it is unfair to compare them with kvant, as the price is not kvant either.

Yeah I only make the comparison because they look very similar. The Kvant cases weigh a ton. Be interesting to see where these ones lie in the market place quality wise. They do look very nice though and if they have both price and quality on their side I'm sure they'll sell plenty of bare cases to builders.

No offense, but that is what every sales persons says about the product they are selling!!! It carries zero weight alone as a statement.

omar i dont think you wanted to use the word queer
Queer is an umbrella term for sexual minorities[1] that are not heterosexual, heteronormative, or gender-binary. In the context of Western identity politics the term also acts as a label setting queer-identifying people apart from discourse, ideologies, and lifestyles that typify mainstream LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transsexual) communities as being oppressive or assimilationist.

This term is controversial because it was reappropriated only two decades ago from its use as an anti-gay epithet. Furthermore, some LGBT people disapprove of using queer as a catch-all because they consider it offensive, derisive or self-deprecating given its continuous use as a form of hate speech. Other LGBT people may avoid queer because they associate it with political radicalism, or simply because they perceive it as the faddish slang of a "younger generation."
