Help someone, I'm in the process of installing the EMS7000 into my projector, and I can't find where to take the position output signals on the amps... Schematics on their website is the EMS4000 and the amp is different.

I already asked Tom at EyeMagic but if somebody can tell me the information faster, I will be able to finaaaaaaly test them, I neeeed

Well I did some quick tests and so far I'm impressed by the quality of the projections!! It looks *exactly* at what you have on computer screen, with razor sharp edges, etc, I'm happy And no resonance even with 5mm aperture mirrors. Way better than my DT40Pro with 5mm mirrors!

I pushed the speed up to 60k and even at bigger angles the corners are still perfectly sharp, not bending when you push the scanners too hard.

And the ILDA test pattern at 60k is looking good apart the circle which is round but seems to slip at the end (or start?), don't know why?! It doesn't change at 5 or 30°... Maybe due to software...

That is strange. But I have to say, that sill looks pretty damn good for a 60k scan.

Could be the speed. Maybe they can't quite manage 60 degrees perfectly.

1st symptom on my Kvant when the LM's are pushed slightly too far is circles not quite meeting up. In my case dropping from 30K to 25K solves it. Have you tried dropping from 60K to 55 or 50K?

I'm using Fiesta.NET PRO DAC (100'000 kpps max). I discovered that with the automatic scan rate, the scan rate was maxed out at about 54 kpps when displaying ILDA pattern, after that point the sound of the scanners was the same so I assume it wasn't increased any more (you enter a fixed frame rate and a max scan rate, then the software adjust scan rate until it reach desired FPS or max scan rate).

I reduced the speed and size down to 20k but the circle has always about the same shape, it was never entirely inside square... I assume the scanners are tuned like that, and I have to say it's damn efficient when scanning either logos or beams frames!!

I did more tests this evening and they still amaze me On ILDA test pattern, the corners remains almost perfectly sharp near max angle at >50k... I really feel solidness out of these scanners. But they are heating alot when pushed hard, both galvos and amp... my 180W power supply are feeding them well they dissipate a few watts

    Hi guys,

Here is a second chance for anyone who missed the EyeMagic group buy recently.

This isn't group buy #2 but it is intended to help anyone who missed out or for people who have recently become aware of these great new scanners.

Also anyone who is interested in an IRIS Safe or IRIS ColorSafe can take advantage of this offer too.

I will not be facilitating it, I'm just letting you know how to take advantage of what is being offered.

    OK here goes.

If you place an order from tomorrow Thursady the 19th of Jan 2012 until Tuesday the 24th of Jan 2012 your orders will be grouped together and you will receive a discount on the list price.

I don't know how much it will be. It won't be as much as the group buy recently (that was a one off) but it will definitely be better than nothing.

    Who to contact;

If you are in the US contact
    ***Fred or Amanda at sales@onestoplasershop.com
    ***http://www.onestoplasershop.com/contact.asp

If you are anywhere else in the world contact
    **Tom Kamaras at solutions@eyemagic.gr
    **http://www.eyemagic.gr/

Put "PL grouped order in the subject title" if you make an enquiry.

    Good luck and happy shopping
    Kit

Kinda feel sorry for all that missed out on this. If wouldn't have just invested in a new mill at the time I would have gotten 4 sets, at least!
That was truly a once in a lifetime deal!

    Hi smog,

Unfortunately not, the group buy was a one off.

If you email Tom directly and you buy a few it should be cheaper but there won't be anymore public group buys for them.

OK Kit, Thanks for letting me know.

If anyone has a spare set out there I may well be interested very soon.
    Thanks
