Hi Silvershot, it's all been ordered, parts and the boards. It will probably be another 2 weeks before everything shows up. These are going to end up being a bit more than I expected, if parts and shipping were free then breakout boards would be free! Each breakout board will require 151 solder connections plus a number of crimp connections and testing. I need to sit down and run thru the part costs and anticipated shipping expenses again, but it will likely be in the $25 to $30 range, shipped worldwide. I will initially be offering these as complete kits, to include all cabling plus the interlock circuitry setup for 5VDC. More news soon!

Regarding the simple option, would you offer it unassembled at a lower price? I like soldering and is not the price that is the problem, but I'd just wanted to know

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I'm sure we can work that out, it would likely knock off only $5 from the cost though, still need to figure it all out.

..Dude, if these were $50., imho, they'd still be a steal, with the level of care and craftsmanship you put into them... So, don't sweat a small price-bump...
    ..jus' sayin...

    ..lookin' forward..

Thanks guys! If it was about the money I'd just work a couple hours of OT at work to make up the amount of profit I'll see on these. I just enjoy the work and to know that something I created someone else found useful! It always makes me proud to see one of the older boards in a projector at a LEM!

Still waiting for about 3 more parts to arrive along with the boards, I can't wait to get started on these. Once I get a majority of these built I'll start on the 10 channel buffer/splitter project. Buffo was kind enough to let me borrow back the prototype so I can iron out a few bugs before I commit it to a printed board.

Do you have a final price yet? I'm happy to pay up front so they can be out the door as soon as they're done.

The boards have shipped! I should have them on Thursday. If everything checks out and I can get some stock built up, I should have them ready sometime this weekend, I hope!

Awesome! I'd like to have one. Do they come with or without the cables?
I wouldn't mind if it came unsoldered if it saves you some effort...

I've started a new thread in the B/S/T section with more information on the boards and how to order. Thanks!
