There is a Holiday Inn Express that is within walking distance... Here's a link to the hotel's website, and another one to Google maps showing where it is located.

Cool. Thanks. I put in my vacation so I am definitely in. I am driving down with a wife and 2 girls so I won't have much room for toys but I should be able to squeeze my RGB projector and some essentials in the car. Looking forward to it.

Veerryyy slight outside chance I could do this.... hummm. If my Saturday wedding cancels and, that rumour ends up becoming true... I might be able to do a whirlwind trip. I'm not flying with a projector again, at least not yet. Maybe the new Kvant as a carry on would be o.k.

Hey guys;

Got the rental contract from the boat club over the weekend, so I'm going to send it in tomorrow with a check. This will lock us into the venue for this time. They've gone up on the rental a bit, but it's still affordable. If we can get a better deal on a larger venue in the fall, I'm open to trying out a new place then, but for the March 2012 FLEM (what is this, number 9?) we will be in Tavares.

Who among you will be there on Friday?

if there is ANY way I can swing it... I will be there.Side effect from SELEMs- other LEMs leave you craving just a little more.
TEXLEM 2013 will be more satisifyting. We are already penciled in for a full weekend (+part of thur for early set=up ) And it WILL be superbowl weekend AGAIN except this time we will have the game on-site... party.. and after the game resume shows til late- & those that can stay over will leave Monday ~noon.

Best wishes for a great FLEM- at least in spirit I will be there.
