In the vid you say the powers are about the same but just to be accurate, that's not entirely true.

The Spectrum and Micro both have around 350mw green, the RGB Laser Systems has 1 W green.

I take your point on overall powers, but so far as comparisons go, you'd expect the RGB Laser Systems unit to be the brightest on mixed colour / white.

That said, in the videos I didn't notice much difference apart from on colour where the RGB System displayed yellow as greeny / yellow, presumably due to insufficient red to balance the 1W green.

On scanners you'd expect the RGB system to be superior it has Cambridge whereas the Kvant at the price your advertising is LM and I don't know what the Micro system uses, probably LW given I understand they're owned by them now.

Still a nice comparison though. Always nice to see a real world comparison and thanks for sharing.

    Nice, thanks for sharing.

But you should not call the RGBLaserSystem one an Compact4, as the original one has 4 watts of total power, including 2W of 637, and will be way more powerful than others! This should be a special version made for you...

    here are the reel spec's:

RGB lasersystem in a compact 4 case
    special design:
    300mW 640nm
    1000mW 532nm
    1000mW 445nm
    DT 40 pro scanners

    Kvant
    300mW 640nm
    300mW 532nm
    1000mW 445nm
    LM scanners

    Pure micro
    300mW 637-640nm
    400mW 532nm
    1000mW 445nm
    LW 40-50kpps scanners

For me the RGB lasersystem is the best.
the beam is tight and the cooling works good!
the PM is new, we will see what will happen when use it long...
the PM has prism pair for bleu when order the low power versions, but i like to get the max power out this small unit for beamshows.
hope this clear it all up.
i happy you like the video :-)

Well you have a very special verson of the RGBLS Scanners aren't usually DT but CT...

Also I will love to see the pure micro in real, seems very very small. Just a thing you can tell me : has it an external power supply? If I remember I saw this somewhere...

    it is verry small yes.
and yes it has a external 24V dc power suply. i think i will gluw it on the back of the cool body soon... then you can not loos it and still is small.
the psu has euro connector input..
    Attachment 30266Attachment 30267Attachment 30268
the open picture is not mine, but a low power version, when use 1 red diode you can get a beam correction on the bleu...
but i use it for beamshows and i need max power

    hum I understand now,

in fact it is only the case who is from RGB laser system....

the inside has been made by you, that's why you propose these low prices!

    or am I wrong?

Well for me the Swisslass Micro would be out straight away being made with Laserworld lasers. Last thing I'd want is a projector with possibly over driven laser units.

I also don't like the idea of these systems getting smaller and smaller. Trouble is it's fine until you want to add something eg a colour correction board or a different laser or pair of scanners if something fails or if you want to upgrade then all of a sudden you find you don't have the room. Even Kvant are guilty of that as their trend is ever smaller although at least the Kvant has some room.

I have to say in your video the Kvant beam looks smaller and tighter to me on the graphics:

Kvant left, RGB Right (for anyone who hasn't watched it):

It also shows up the difference in colour balance quite nicely showing that the RGB could use a little more red.

I also thought it was very close between the LM scanners and the DT40's (?). On the circles the LM produces much smaller dots (another sign of a tighter beam?) but the DT40's in the RGB System produce very well defined dots with lines between making it a more accurate draw.

However, I do question if they are DT's just like SBK because RGB Lasersystems own web page says for that model 6210 Cambridge Apollo and that would explain the perfect lines between the dots.

    sorry,

I thought that because of the lack in red and DT scanners

and this is why I ask you to confirm what I said !

there over 1 year now, and then still the 640nm red was verry expensive.
so i order little lower power, but still quite good white balance!

green and bleu make almost white ;-)

No one said you were cheating, but when you look up the model on their website:

    http://www.rgblasersystem.com/index....d=33&Itemid=91

It says 6210. If you'd explained they were made specially for you with DT's, there would have been no confusion.

DT40's are good scanners in fact behind Cambridge they'd probably be my choice although some might throw Eye Magics in the mix as well.

The price for the RGB is good as well and I'd certainly buy one if I was looking for a system.

    thanks !

i love the dt's the owner of the dt factory jian, build lasers for me long time.
but then he can sell a lot of scanners and his company grow, he had no mor etime to build the projectors for me

Thanks for the video RGB LASER VERKOOP, not all of us get to look at these side by side. I thank you for doing the video and sharing with us.

    laser greets from Holland
ps. the pure micro 1800 has a special optic for make the bleu beam the same size as red and green.
perfect white with 350mW green, 320mW red, 650mW bleu. nice small white projector for a good price!

Well the pure micro is not that cheap, 1300€ more than the equivalent Kvant... Or maybe is it available cheaper somewhere else than on the official site?

Your understanding of laser systems White-light amazes me, where did you gain all that experience to be able to judge SO well?

    who me ?
    my name is joost

I work with lasers for 19 years now
start with hene and argon lasers
then the first green diode lasers (low power and verry expensive)
and then full color RGB with 670nm red
and then better red, better bleu, and now it is amazing what you can do with this small size, it is more bright then my big argon hene laser 19 year ago hahaaa and that one used 16Amps power, this small baby only 0,6 Amps

so guys, i think hoera hoera for laserworld, they finaly have a good product with good output power and the smallest in the market.
easy to adjust beams and easy to open.
low kilo and low size, can fit 4 full color lasers in one normal flightcase where normal is only 1 RGB :-)
and they have a nice x and y adjustment pot. you can make size small till zero then turn on the other way and it is iinverted, really cool, never see this before!

PM me for price and orders, best price in the world!
And if i liek them, then sure other laserist will like them also!
And i not get any commision from laserworld !
