Default What is the best way to make a hot beam circkle in LD2000?

    Hey guys,

It's kinda rare i put down an LD2000 related question.

I know a way to make a circkle of dots (hot beams) in LD2000.
Though there is likely a better way.
The current way i do it kinda gives a lot of unneeded blanking and makes the blanked lines go back and move alllll the way back to the first dot instead of blanking in a circkle way.
It works but im sure there is an better way to do it.
I do not want to load in pre-made frames.
I prefer making my frames from scratch.

So how to make a perfect dotted circkle (manual drawing is a no go)
    I have LD2000 pro.
I know how to waves and shit, but there must be a magic trick to do the dotted circkle correctly somehow

The way I do it is to make a 1 point dot in the middle of the drawing grid. Move that point to the highest spot of where you want your circle to be. Then renumber the point to 5 or 10 points; finally go to the SFX menu and pick spin. This will take your dot and spin duplicates in a circle based on the number of "ribs" you choose in the spin menu.
    Love, peace, and grease,
