I traded a couple things with a friend for a couple sets of scan heads and the amps to go with them. They came out of Bausch & Lomb TECHNOLAS Lasik machines and were used to scan the UV beam over the surface of the eye.
The first set is older, from around 2000. It has a two channel amp with the scan head connected by a DB-15 for each galvo. The GSI galvos have markings of GS660 and 000-3003505. The amp is a MÜT-Gmbh GSA-5000. It has the power supply and two AE1200 amps inside a 19" rack. Simple Runs off of 24vac.
The second set is somewhat newer from around 2004. The scan head has two GSI 000-3008567 mostly hardwired to the amp. The amp is a nice little box made by ARGES called a E-Box. http://www.arges.de/index.php?id=559&L=4 It has a dual scanner amp inside with the analog interface. It looks like it can be set up with current and voltage loops both unipolar and bipolar. I need to see if they will send me a real manual. It runs off either 22-30 AC or DC and I was able to figure how to get this one up and running. The other I need to find a transformer for.
Anyone heard of any of these units? I cant find anything on the net about them.
