Cool (No Longer A Distributor) PL Series Modules From Lasever (LAB/Industrial)

Update: I am no longer a distributor for Lasever. Here is the explanation:
    http://laserpointerforums.com/f41/ca...ver-84976.html

These modules come with driver, IR filter, and lens. (lens is loose and must be mounted)

See here for a build tutorial:
    http://laserpointerforums.com/f40/la...ild-77560.html

    Dimensions:

Module - 26mm diameter X 53.5mm from brass to the IR filter

Driver - 25.5mm diameter X 13.5mm (there is a switch on the driver - it is not a momentary switch. So instead of by-passing it, you can just turn it on, and it does not stick out past the edge of the board if you just remove the blue cap)

    P.S. Trusted:

To show that I am a trusted seller, please take a few minutes to read some of the buyer feedback that I have listed here: (my 1000 lumen Mag mod thread at CPF)

He has several more very nice beam shots in his build thread:

Here's a beam shot from the 473nm build I just did:

    Hey Jay,

Will you be offering any lab/stationary hosts to fit these modules?

Also, does the driver have analogue modulation?

I know the lasever greens generally have a very good reputation, but cooling is sometimes and issue. Are these ok to be passively cooled for long runs? Or do you recommend a TEC?

And one more, sorry. Could you share any of the beam specs after the lens is installed? Aperture diameter and divergence would be helpful!

    Thanks for offering these Jay,

    -Tyler

So far I have only put together one of these modules into a build. It was a module that a member sent to me. (made a 'Hot' option kit for him) I did not do a lot of testing because it was not my module...

I did bounce it off a mirror to see the size of the dot on the wall behind me (total distance - 100'), and the dot was as small as I had hoped for. As good as any other DPSS laser that I have, including my Optotronics lasers. But no measurements.

And again, since it was not my module, I did not test over 30 seconds. But I did notice that it went to power very quickly, and then at 30 seconds it was starting to drop a little. So I do think that they are very temperature sensitive.

I plan on building my own hand held with an 80mW 473nm module, but just have not gotten to it yet.
    Edit: Finished it... See here:
    http://laserpointerforums.com/f40/la...ild-77560.html

I will be just mounting mine in a heatsink and using a duty cycle. Which I have always had a habit of using anyway. (good rule of thumb)

So more testing is needed to answer those questions.

About modulation. I'm guessing not with this particular driver, but I don't know for sure. So I have messaged Lasever to ask that question for these PL Series modules...

On another note, I was very impressed with these first two 500mW green modules. In how fast they went to 700mW's in less than 10 seconds! (I only did a 15 second test for output power on these)

I would assume that at this kind of power, active cooling would be needed for long runs...

Edit: After getting in contact with Lasever, I have linked the data sheets for download in the first post. (specs shown there)

modulation ust be good if they are used in these builds

and you get tec cooling, module, and power supply
When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

Those look like a great deal!

I know that they are different modules than the ones that I am offering here though...

These are suitable for hand held with no TEC. (per Lasever)

Data sheets now linked in the first post...

Hi, the LSR532PL-TEC in that thread is basically an updated version for LSR532NL module,

and LSR532PL Jay is selling here is mainly for handhelds.

    They are two different products.

You can also get the PL modules from LASEVER, but we don't supply handheld host.
And you can get the LSR532PL-TEC from Jay, too.

He is our distributor in USA. It would save some shipping cost for you to buy from him.
And if you want a laser handheld, it would be good to work with him.

Sorry jay it would have been spotted sooner or later
    My bad

Hello it's OK. the PL module is without modulation, just for handheld use. : )

2 Watt in a PL series module like these??

Or are you talking about your TEC units?
