    Default Steve's LEXEL class notes

IF I would have been able to make it to SELEM* this year, this POWER POINT file would have been part of my presentation.
This covers a bit on repairing LEXEL current control cards...

Note to ex military types, My Powerpoints are useful and not cluttered... Do not cringe or brace when opening...

This Zipfile is "ThankYou Ware", you download it and find it useful, you should post a "Thank You" here.

I will publish the schematic of the card tester mentioned in the PPT soon. Much of what is mentioned does not need the full tester.

    * Dr Boss told me I needed to be here for a scheduled repair visit by a third party on Saturday night. Dr. Boss then turned around and canceled the repair late on Friday evening. No way I could have made it to Newton on time. I would have had to leave Sunday morning anyways.

    See Attached.

Thanks for posting this, Steve! I'm sure it will come in handy for many members. (Over 20 views so far, and it hasn't even been up 24 hours yet...)

And yeah, it sucks that you couldn't make it to SELEM this year. Although attendance was down a bit from previous years, we still had a lot of fun. I think we've got the optimal layout for the auditorium now. (You'll see what I mean next year!)

What is alarming is there is 24 views, 3 of which are mine, checking that it will download. I'd expect at least 11 thankyous...

Makes me feel like watching this oldie but goodie...

Thank you Steve for posting this.
Thank you for helping me with my first Lexel; at SELEM, here on the board, and via phone.

That night at SELEM with you and Bill, in the floor, probing a live 94 power supply..... I learned more from that than any training course or book would have taught me. It has allowed me to also help others colse to me, since I have 3ph power.

    Thank you Steve.

Edit: Thanks. ( I got you 4 thanks right there )

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.
