Default Embedded PC as a projector controller?

    Hi All,
I picked up one of these [for free :] It's new (obsolete pc but industrial grade) They were throwing a bunch of them away.

It's got no sound card (not that that matters for this.) Any idea if there's a way to make it work for a projector controller?
    Thanks in advance!!

LFI player might run on that, but its low on RAM, and RAM = SPEED. I cant think of anything else except Laserboy or Dean's Abstract generator, and that is pushing it. It would talk to a Etherdream or RIYA micro. There is USB for a sound card dac.

Neat tool to have if you for hacking though, especially with some DOS based tools.

Thanks Steve. I googled LFI, looks good and I've already have seen the good reviews for Laserboy (of course) here . I'm not a fanatic for speed, I kinda like slow flowing shows, not pulsating rapid-fire stuff so thats not a problem. Nice to know that it will work. I appreciate it !!

It might work with a .net box and a QM2000... They store the memory on the QM2000 memory.... it might be worth a shot...

Edit-- Thanks you all for the info. It's good to know that I may be able to get this to work. I'm no pc guru though so I may have a few questions later ..
    Thanks !!
