Legal Varianced Chinese Laser

Received the new laser today!
Walked the wife through every step and check on the phone.

Findings:
1. Laser aperture window has a magnetic metal protective cover. COOL!
2. Interlock Key is NOT removable in the ON position
3. Unit has 3 second delay from power on to emission.
4. Unit will not fire if the key is turned off then back on without a power cycle
5. Unit will not fire if the remote/estop is triggered without a power cycle
6. Unit has emissions led indicator inside air vents.
7. Unit has a mechanical shutter inside before galvos.
8. Unit will project ILDA 12k Test pattern at 30k with circle BARELY outside of the green box at 100% software height and width (the wife only has access to my quickshow, not beyond to test at 40k)
9. Every Laser modulates beautifully

Money well spent. Good Job ABLE! Ill be uploading a slew of pics when i get home!

Have a real hard time believing this as 100% in software is well over the usual degrees that 30k is rated for.

well the scanners are "rated" for 40k Quickshow doesnt go any higher than 30k. Dt40Pros. I told the wife to put the software at 100% height and 100% width and scan rate at 30k. she said the circle was just barely hanging outside of the box

Need to have her measure the size of the entire pattern (either width or height - shouldn't matter since it's a square) and then measure the distance from the projector to the wall. This will allow you to calculate the scan angle.
