Default NWLEM II - Buy Sell Trade Thread...

Just to get the ball rolling...

I am guessing: cases from Picasso and Platinum, flexmods, ion fun from Dave, bits and bobs from me and who knows what Laserman532 is bringing... I would have more goodies but they are stuck in Texas next to brad's laserscopes.

That is all... Now start posting.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

I am looking for laser modules, 1-2W each, of the red, blue, and green variety. Intended to build them myself but haven't made the time, so I have a bunch of misc parts for module building that I will bring to unload, a couple Edison quad kits and some random diode housings.

Also have two Traco TOP 6012 12v PSUs that are brand new. A few micromounts with mirrors already glued on. I know there is some other stuff too, times to start digging. Thanks for the reminder!

I'll be bringing pretty much all the stuff Blowfly mentioned as well, and with a new baby scooting about, I'd like to pair my collection o' photonics stuff down a bit. I'm also bringing the CuBr which although not currently lasing is in overall excellent condition and in need of a good home at some point.

I suppose we should get people posting needs too as others may have spares in the pile of good stuff or junk box...

I will start lenses for diodes.... Spare under powered 520nm diodes as you just picked up the 1w version . A lexel 88 would be nice with single phase supply!

If you need lasorbs or flexmods I suggest you note it so drlava can have them available. Now if we could just get dtr to come with single mode rgb diode kits everybody's wallet would be empty...

I will definitely buy some flexmods. I got 3 defunct units, at least one of which only needs a new MOSFET. I'll probably have purchased a few MOSFETs by then, and will see how many of my dead guys can be revived. If anybody brings dead flexmods, I can try replacing their MOSFET too. it's a ~$1.50 part that can revive a $40 driver, so worth a shot IMHO.

I could use some bench equipment, too. I need a laser power meter, and wish I still had my old oscilloscope. Need laser safety glasses. I am also thinking about new scanners... And if I found a pair of fat red diodes (2W or better?), I could convert my blue-green lasers to full color... Looking forward to browsing.

Anyone interested in some model 082 He-Ne tubes?they are brewster windowed and were in 127 /107 heads. They were re pumped according to the engineer that I bought them from 10 years ago. I used one in an old Liconix frame and got it to lase no problem. The getters are still black as night. one tube, the -0 has the gettering layer flaking off internally. They have the anode crud on the bores. Click image for larger version.

I also have a Phillips tetrode from a line lite 948 c02 laser. I had UPS pay for the remanufacture of the tetrode and tube since they smashed them in in their gentle smashing way in shipping. It has about an hours time on it. Click image for larger version.

Also I have a working old Laser Photonics model UV-12 nitrogen laser. I was trying to get it to run an old coherent 599 dye laser.
