Default Norseld/Asclepion Y| LITE CuBr laser

I have sitting in my garage a Y|LITE laser by Norseld PTY out of Adelaide AU. My company was the US arm for Norseld for many years. This laser was used at a few shows and some demos but is in New condition. It hasn't been fired up in 5 years but if someone thinks it has value let me know and I will see if the tube will still fire. Let me know if it's worth something to you and enough for me to put the effort in. Laser is channeled through a fiber to the hand-piece so may be able to be modified for other uses.

I also have service manuals for many if not all Asclepion, Aesculap, Norseld, Lynton, MLT, Greenton, Naturalase, Wavelight, CILAS, Med-Surge, SWOT, VETLASE, Cutting Edge and a few Lumenis lasers manufactured and sold between 1985-2010. Let me know if anything has value to you. I also have hands on knowledge of all these systems and may be able to provide some guidance if someone has an old beast they'd like to resurrect.

I had one that I sent to a friend who can actually use it. The green and gold is awesome. If it were not so far from Akron to Massachusetts, I'd go get it. While tough, it would have to be shipped "Air Ride" freight to be sure it arrives.

I know some makers who could use it for micromachining. Getting it to Washington DC would be interesting, but my brother lives near Boston and I could possibly get my mom to pick it up when she visits up there. She has a long bed pickup with cover. How much motivation is necessary? ;-)

Probably your makers should go camp out at Potomac Photonics...

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
