Default Dr. Lava's 2 diode blue kit from long ago...

Anyone have the PDF instruction sheet for Dr. Lava's ancient two diode 445 blue kit in the diecast box? I have two of them I never built... Would like the docs...

I checked. I don't have it. I have something called:

Using CylKit-01 Lenses to Correct your Laser Diode
    and
    FlexMod P3 Users Manual

..Uh, IIRC, I - think - these, below, were the 'extent' of the "docs" on those pups:

ID:	52691 ..Likewise, I only recall getting a printout of 'how to set the FM3'.. I think the Dr. was perhaps of the mind-set that 'if ya can't figure these out by Looking at these pix, then you probably shouldn't own them'.. Truly, a 'DIY' kit.. I think the only 'difference' from these shots is that you Do have a mount-tap for the FM, inside..

..But really, they're not that bad to do, just tiny parts, and a bit of tediousness with the cyl-pairs, as usual, nothing You can't tackle before lunch..

    Fwiw..

PS - I am quite keen on those units, so.. If you, at some point, decide 'aww, phuket' let me know, perhaps we can trade some horses or other-such..

I have the single diode version of that module. It is the same but one of the diodes and the knife edge mirror are not included. When I asked DrLava for the instructions for it he sent me the two documents I referenced above. The "Using CylKit-01 Lenses to Correct your Laser Diode" is for aligning the lenses. I can forward it to anyone who wants it if you send me an email address.

I have the directions. Will scan and mail. It talks about the proper alignment and the shapes of the beam with poor alignment. There is nothing to be learned from it. Twist and tweak till the beam is as it should be. Nothing more. It doesn't specify the lens values in any way. Works really damn well on red too.
