    Default Lasers and Xrays

In Xray machines, are they using a laser? I'm thinking of it because of the radiation......

    no.. xray machines use xrays.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

... you can produce X-rays with lasers, but this would be a pretty hefty setup

Sometimes they have lasers in the machines to align with the patient.

There are lots of tabletop gigawatt lasers that make X-rays these days. In fact they are doing particle physics with them now.

In real plain say dental or body xrY the target is set with a grid that is usually just. Light projected through glass with lines. Some might use laser grid but none I've seen.

forgot excimer laser. Is X-ray I forgot if coil is infrared or X-ray.
