Analog blanking driver (schematic)

I am trying to build a constant current driver with analog blanking.
Based on a scheme on internet i copyed it using parts available in my country.

This wil be my first laserprojector project.
( i don't count the 3motor lissajous thing i made 18years ago :-)

I would like to use this driver with a FB3 that i will be ordering this month.


Can you guys confirm that this diodedriver works?
Did i make any mistakes in the schematic?

It would be a sad day if i blowup a perfect working pangolin FB3.

Damn! Thats a pitty then.
I would really like to get into analog blanking but finding the right schematic to build these drivers myself with parts available is really hard.

There are some nice drivers available from Dr lava and Robin/UkLASER but i like to build the drivers from normal components myself for the satifaction of building.

SMD/SMT scares me alittle.
I has been 10 years of soldering silence.. so getting directly into SMD/SMT isnt going to be a wise choice i think.

Maybe some of you guys have suggestions for me?

I have been reading here some time now.
This forum is different.

I visit alot of forums and i am owner of the biggest technical honda community's in my country.
I am one of the founders of FPM (a really big int pyrotechnics community).
Some really big and serious sites with alot of different passionate people.

Never i have seen a forum/community like Photonlexi, where everybody is so nice and respectfull of eachother.
probably the nicest forum's i know today.

I wonder why this is???
Is it the hobby that attracts differrent people?

It's a nive driver!!
I have seen alot of people using these with succes.

Sadfully the LMH6645 and IRLR3105 are not available in my country.
I havent found a electronics store that stocks them.
These are also SMD/SMT based...

Maybe there are replacements for the LMH6645 and 3105 but my electronics knowledge isn't that great.

I know the 6645 is a very fast rail to rail amp and the IRLR3105 should be an automotive mosfet??

Most other parts in the schematics i can replace for normally available electronics like the 1n4001 etc

Any suggestion and/or help is welcome!!!

Maybe with some help from the photonlexicon users we can alter the schematic??
If its ok with robin/UKLASER... (i don't know if you are still selling the drivers.. if not.. maybe you can help us with the scematics?)

Do you also have problems finding good laser related resources without paying excessive shipping and customs prices???

Robin supplies a Farnell BoM too, so it's quite painless, or he may be able to do a kit for you?

I know this doesn't get you building from scratch which is what you would like to do, but at least you can get your hands dirty with SMD's.
One out of two 'aint bad...
