When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

I would probably run it back a bit TBH. Try with say 4A, and see how you go...

There's a 600mA p-p ripple on the 8A die4chill, so keep that in mind if you are pushing the peltiers to the max
this is tec specs 37 Watts ,Max Temperature Differential 75 degrees C,Max Amps 3.3,Max Volts 16vdc.
with all three parralell i think it should be ok ?, but let me know if not
thanks

That should be OK. Start out at a low current setting and see how well its cooling. If need be you can always inch the current up..

I found these on Ebay a while back and I just couldn’t pass up on these, especially at a price of €4.50 a piece (scooped up 10 of them at €3.00 a piece, the seller also also offered to do better pricing for higher quantities). It’s a TEC Controller for heating and cooling with TEC’s up to 6A and will also controll a 12V fan. The best part is they are programmable via Codevision and the Seller made the code and pin out for the onboard interface available on the asking. So I’m just throwing this info out there for anyone who might be interested or would want to do a GB for some of these, I’d be more than happy to share the necessary code and info’s on these. The code is nothing out of this world and I’ve already located the variables for the upper and lower temperature levels which can easily be changed to whatever one needs. The PCB is 50mm x 50mm and could be trimmed down to about 40mm x 40mm (a lot of excess material there).
Here’s a link to the Ebay post for anyone who can read German:

Cheers!
this must be the cheapest tec controller out there. maybe even cheaper than building your own irf540 mini curcuit
do i undertsand this correctly? does it have to see a 5 degree difference between set temp and sensor so as to start working? or it can control temp over a 5 degree "window"?

"its called character briggs..."
How do these perform? Does the code implement PID loop or simple thermostat with hysteresis?
Cheers.
