Looks like you have a winning product here... Will spread the word to other non-laser folk, hopefully this will push up the order numbers a bit.

Itching to get my hands on a version 2

    Cheers,

    Pete

I found this thread when looking for ways to control a peltier for non-laser related uses, been lurking ever since. I would be down for a few.

    Hi OverlordQ, welcome.

What use do you have? Is the 10-27c control range suitable for your applicatoin? Just curious.

The intended purpose would be to try and keep something held at 18.3°C

It doesn't *require* a peltier, it's more in the 'can it be done' category.

I received the new board from Solarfire today. It looks really nice!

I shall endeavor to spend some time testing with the firmware this week, but may not complete it for a few weeks as I am heading to China on Saturday.

Well I feel guilty for not doing anything for so long with this project, so tonight I connected the Atmel ISP and loaded the code. A few little bugs sorted, both timers now running and also my synthesized software timers.

I plan to connect this to my TEC block/LD test bed in the next few days and debug the PID loop.

Here is an updated spec sheet with connections indicated.
