Very nice!!! I still can't get over how small, neat and cool your scanner is. It just rocks.

    Thanks for sharing.

Really really nice there Anthony. Did you salvage the laser heads/heatsinks from old modules?

    Bedankt man,

    Yes,

when i fist started out.. i bought Dealextreme lasers....
ofcourse those lasers died pritty fast.
I had the optics/heatsinks laying around and they where "nice" so i reused them.

The DX 100mw red laser has a nice heatsink that can be used for the aixix module with glass-lens.

You seem to have got a very nice spectrum of colours using just 405nm for blue which has a reputation for not mixing well. Congrats!

    Cool

Did you try tweaking the color palette by hand in Pangolin? I'm thinking that you could increase the brightness of the blue by adding some green in there.

    Adam,

    i have tried that
The poor dx30 green doesn't like it....
i varies way to mutch as temps rise and fall...

    Its a bad quality laser.

if you closer to this picture, you see a little green in the blue.
The first wave/fan pic on on page 3 hasn't got the green in it.

its sad the laser isn't more stable.
