Very nice intro to 3DS laseranimation, DrLaser.
Finished basic spline modeling tutorial. Compressing as we speak. I hope for 33MB.

Been trying to load DXF from Adobe Illustrator CS3 File Export, but R10-Format is not supported anymore.
Any chance of supporting one of the formats shown in the picture in ILD SÔS ?
This way it would be possible to use all those AI-Files out there in the web as laser graphics...
Another great option would of course be to support AI directly ;-)
Yes, I have added support for many additional things to the DXF loader now, can you send me a few example output files from the different versions (256 and true color output) with the text outlining selected. Try to include many different shapes and test scenarios, groupings.
Nice. But where can I download the update? ;-)
There has been some need for a image to ilda tutorial
So, here's a go at a basic How-to for converting images to ILDA using inkscape and ILD SOS

Thanks to a cooperation with fellow member Zoof here on PL, ILD SOS 1.3 series now can load Inkscape native .SVG files directly. This allows the use of linear gradients for colorization, where the previous dxf loading method did not.
If you have ILD SOS and haven't tried inkscape yet, you really should! Draw colorful frames, trace and convert raster images to frames, all without having to worry about points.

I think we need to organize all tutorials in one place.
Here is how to do traditional cell animation in Inkscape and ILD SOS!
Yes yes you can animate in inkscape but in very unusual way!
I'm not sure if SVG multi frame import is in 1.3.1
