    Mobolasers are alright, I think that laseronics (alex) had a couple for sale earlier. If you were to covert it to ILDA and a a TTL driver for the solenoids (as in the RIYA basic) it could be a lot of fun... Otherwise automode and DMX... But the ones I have seen didn't have the scanner option and had an argon rather than diodes.... Jamesx1234 has one too if you need information.

    Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

    Thumbs up Another E-bay deal

    Well, it's not a laser, but I did buy it on E-bay... Here's my new vehicle, which will be hauling my laser equipment to FLEMs (and SELEMs) for the foreseeable future.

    Not a bad deal for a Jeep as nice as this one... I'm happy with it!

    I remember watching a video years ago and being in awe from the colors. They had their multi-300 or something like that. It looked awesome. What was in that? I remember that thing going for many thousands of dollars. That was when lasers were really expensive! I can't even find videos of their products anymore. I'd like to see that video again.

    Hi Dave;

    Yeah, both the interior and the exterior look great. Not a mark on it! There are a couple minor things I need to fix (sticking switch on the cruise control, fan relay needs replacing), but overall it was a great deal on a really nice vehicle. I'm hoping to get some good use out of it.

    Holy Crap! That is only 45 minutes away, bid placed XD

    If anyone else here wants it pm me, I would rather cut a deal on the forum than bid up the price of the laser

    Will they sell it to you in it's current condition? It's a working medical laser. There might be some FDA issues or they will have to "demedicalize" it.

    I am sure that his plan is to demedicalize it.... But you are correct in your statement, but we don't need to remind them. I had some fun getting oxygen concentrators because of this (for my torch).

    We will see, its missing the fiber/delivery stuffs so it wouldn't be too useful for surgery any more, but I might have to jump through some hoops. I have never had issues with buying medical lasers in the past, although I haven't bought a med laser quite this massive before

    Good luck then. I just cringe sometimes when I see medical lasers because when they leave the loading docks "demedicalized" they tend to have all kinds of cables cut. I doubt this will happen as they are selling it as operational. They may just disconnect the cabling between the head and the PS and "accidentally" leave the cables with the unit.

    That is a YVO4 crystal out of a Spectra Physics MG-532. It is good for about 15W of pump from one side, or more simply put, 2W of green under very ideal conditions.
