This theme *does* seem a little brighter than it's previous iterations. Maybe the boxes could be shaded a little bit darker.

I'm still happy with it though.

(I can't get enough of that 'Addict Button'; the look on the figure's face is uncanny!)

When did the "News and Other Discussion" sub-forum fall off the main PL index page. I had to click a link to find the Admin new and lunge threads... Just curious.

Took me a while to figure out what you were talking about... Think I got it though.

Top right of each "forum block" is a little +/- circle that allows you to collapse or expand the groupings. I guess you had an errant click up there causing the block to go hide.

Is that it or is there some sort of permissions quirk I need to track down?

I cannot get a attachment uploaded.

I work with firefox, when I click on manage attachments > add files > select a file > upload files. noting happens.

EDIT: Another bug, can't get the hyperlink to work... even if inserted into the hyperlink dialog... It always kicks it out because it contains the "[" character...

Any chance of setting a default skin in my user profile to always use the old layout? Or is that going to cause more problems?

After a few days to get used ti ot, I'm not.

It kinda reminds me of when MS changed the Desktop of the Xbox 360 to emulate the Wii.
Lots of wide open spaces.
Light colours etc.........

That thread sums it up. Machol is "The VB guy" and it is impossible to go back to the old theme. *everything* was changed... even the way the layouts are parsed... its xhtml all the way now... no tables.

The only way to get the old theme back would be to downgrade to vb3.84... ohh wait... "reverse upgrades" don't work either. Its version 4 or nuke the board at this point. I don't fucking like it. I clocked 14 hours in here the other day trying to fix everything and I am still nowhere near done.

I am working with the guy at skinbox.com to get both taken care of... for a current iteration of the "dark" "vertically compressed" theme go to the bottom left of the board and select "Underground". My biggest gripe is that its horizontally compressed to the point of being useless.... It really is a work in progress at this point... Just please be patient with me as I work through all this shit.

No flak from me. Man, its crap. Plain and simple.

If I could get back the old theme... even the old default vbulletin theme I would. The previous skin creator for the 3.8 series of VB that PL was using doesn't do VB anything anymore, so that skin is "dead^3"

In other news... I lost a few of the custom smilies at the board like the devilface one... had to remake retardoface and screwed it up...

So... Who do we know that knows a thing or two about forum smilies that might be up to the challenge of adding/cataloging/tagging them... Hrrm. If only there was someone at the board... *cough*ALLTHAT*cough*
