    Default Laserworld 20K tuning

    Hi all,

I have just purchased and taken delivery of Smoghtmogs little 532 projector. Thank Jim, nice doing business with you and helping me start out on this long and expensive trip we call a hobby!

I now want to try to tweek the scanners to see if I can improve the output a bit but can not find any info on the function of each of the pots on the scanner amp. Any advice or help from anyone would be most welcome (appart from get better scanners, they will be next).

    Thanks, Adrian

I could be wrong, but i think these are the same scanner sold by NRG Lasers as LP12.

Take a look at the manual.

    Yea u are right doc

lol trust me those wol never do 20k
    there just glorified 12k scanners
    got mine upto 16k max.
and even then the scan quality is poor
compared to a decent pair of scanners
but the wil do just fine for beam shows and simple graphics

    same with the lw50k scanners
your lucky if u can get them to do 35k

Has anyone done this mod to make them 20K yet? Or does anyone want to post details?
