Default Laserbee-1 A GREAT Power Meter!

Got to give out a big shout out to Jerry for his great little power meter the Laserbee-1. This is not a full review, just a quick KUDOS for a great little meter.

I have yet to learn on how to use the data logging feature and software associated with this meter...but it is on the list of things to do.

I have a nice 150watt ophir meter and it wouldn't even register with my baby diode setups. If you need to measure up to 1 watt and not over, the laserbee-1 is the ticket. Pic is of a BR diode set up.

I was impressed with its fast response and its small physical size. I have the OEM version but I hope Jerry will add to this thread features he wants to highlight.

    Thanks Jerry!

I bet that thermopile would last maybe 5 seconds under 50W of green.

Comparison; calibrated Scientec 365 vs Laserbee 0 to 100mW.

    Pretty impressive

Is the only thing that makes the Laserbee-1 Deluxe a deluxe edition because it has a case?

I've been looking at these LPMs too, but I just haven't forked over the cash yet.

WOW.... From the man himself.... I am humbled..

I Just saw this Thread... Thanks for the Kudos on the LaserBee I Pat...
Much appreciated... and thanks to Doc for posting the comparison
    chart...

If you need info on how to use the PC Data logging feature.. just contact
    me by PM or E-Mail...

We designed it to be simple and easy to use... If you follow and adhere to the
User Instructions... your LaserBee I will give you years of trouble free operation..
If anyone wants more info on the LaserBee I LPM there is a link in my Signature
or you can PM me right here.... (shameless plug...)

    Again... Thanks Pat...

BTW... I'm curious as to the Serial Number on that one...
(it can be found on the LaserBee I PCB under the LCD Display and
a matching number on the rear of the Thermopile Sensor)

    Sorry for the double post...

Yes... the only difference between the Standard LaserBee I and the
Deluxe LaserBee I is the Sloped Plastic Enclosure and associated parts..
The electronics and Firmware are identical...

We offer the less expensive Standard LaserBee I so that you can mount
it into an enclosure of your own choice...

If you have a Standard LaserBee I and want to enclose it to look like
the Deluxe version... we can sell a Deluxe LaserBee I Enclosure Kit
(on request) complete with Assembly Instructions and all parts needed
including the Deluxe LaserBee I Label....

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
