    I ponder the thought these are 442nm diodes.......wish someone could nail down a supply line for these .... diodes alone....at a respectable price.

    These can lase at 450nm according to their spec. But it seems they never quite reach 450 ...

    Got quoted $2250.00 for 1, then they changed their mind and said I had to go through Coherent or Power Technology to get one in the US. You can guess that neither of those companies wishes to sell the bare diodes.

    $1850.00 Gets you the new Osram blue diode, but nobody has stock.

    The Osrams are only 50mW if I'm correct
