Laser Warning Dichro comparison Laserwave VS Phil's

I did a dichro test on the reflect blue dichro.

    I tested the losses of a H & V polarized 655nm red beam.

I have chosen for the red laser only becouse this is a diode lasers and is very stable. a DPSS can heat up during the test and give altered readings.

Without the reflect blue dichro in the beam path my red measured 272mW

With the laserwave dichro in the beampath I measured 235mW

Laserwave give a loss of about 13,6%

With Phil's Dichro in the beam path I measured 260mW

Phil gives a loss of about 4,4%

I also measured a waste beam from the laserwave from 50mw!!! phils dichro got a waste beam of 6mW

Interesting. Where do you find Phil´s dichros?

No sorry, no edmunds for test. But if someone is willing to loan me edmunds I'm happy to add them to the test.

take a SwissLas Dichro and you will have a

    loss of only about 1 % !!

    :-)

A better question would be : who is the manufacturer of the dichros from Phil?

Nice! And the price is nice also, about the same as an Edmunds... I can do a review if you send me one

What is the peak wavelength for the reflect blue dichro?

And I'm santa claus. Ho Ho Ho...

remember I have tested the pass trough of a H & V polarized red laser, not reflectance of a green beam with single polarisation as this is not difficult.

Can you proof a loss of 1% or are you just reading the datasheet?

When I look at the datasheet of the blue laserwave it tells me:
    R>98%
    T>93%
