Oh and the 636nm aint gonna happen as far as I can tell. apologies for the teaser.
I guess I can devulge it now; I bought 5 pc mitsubishi 150mw 636nm diodes .. 5 x 38 divergence. Chuck cant do anything with 'em and I know j.sht about optics and they charged me 1500 when it was supposed to be $295 total instead of 'EACH' so..legal dispute is in effect. Any optics experts out there?? It is a brilliant (although unusable) color tho...
for sale.. unless I have to return them..

In dibelief I immediately called the distributor and told her no way I could pay this amount, she said she'd talk to mitsubishi.. a week or 2 went by so I emailed the rep. He responded saying he'd talk to her. No responses now at all so I'm beginning legal proceedings against them and mitsu using visa-card's dipute services to hopefully recover some losses.
) and hope to make progress. Any input is welcome. If the dispute cannot be resolved I may sell (3) of these diodes on the buy/sell/trade forum. The dispute is all done in hard-copy thru the USPS using a 3d party un-biased service used by visa so it may be a while. Thanks for reading my lengthy story.
Definitely not perfect and not TEM00, but 636 nm yes
There may be hope yet
