    Nice compact design you have yourself there!

    Are you using differential outputs from you dac for X and Y? I didn't know dual pots would work without doing fancy stuff with op-amps. Unless you do have some active components in there?

    Cheers,

    Matt.

    Default x&y

    hi the x & y scale is nothing more than dual pots for differential input
    i never had a problem before with that, or i may have just been lucky

    as for the aluminium i get mine of ebay or the local engineering workshop

    they are not on the shelf you have to go to the parts counter and pick them out of the catalog

    Very nice design!

    Do you think it would possible to make the case airtight and put a fan on the outside of the heatsink, like the lasers from RGB lasersystems.

    Also just wondering how much did you pay for that sheet of aluminum and what are the specs of it.... I am attempting to build my own projector and just need to get the supplies now and was wondering if 1/4" thick aluminum plate would work.

    Default rgb

    @mccarrott i could make it airtight but i dont think the power supplies would like it i still need to get airflow over them the only reason i used heatsink for the lasers is the reds custom built and has a load of tec heat to get rid of i might give it a go

    @f22 the heatsink i got off ebay for $35 it 300mm x 280mm
    the top plate is from my old projector and was plate aluminium at 6mm thick again i got that from ebay $ 25

    @everyone else thanks for your kind comments
