Me: I don't need new scanners. Also Me: I need new scanners. Ryan, If the 5 are already lined up, will you still accept new orders beyond the first 5 until the end of June?

Thanks, I would have liked to see more yellow, my other rig has it and also the sister build to this one, but it has better diodes. Think I am short on green in this build. I noticed that also think I was paid $40 for RGB units with drivers, I have two lumia rigs in the kitchen another with...

Thanks, Adam! I have been collecting parts for this thing for years and finally got around to building the damn thing! Thank you! I got a few of my ideas from one of your builds (You had posted a pic in a thread somewhere). Nice. That 16 effect build is most likely the one I saw...

That worked James! That is really very, very cool and nicely done! I remember the C64 and its SID capability although never got very far into exploring it. I did transfer my Apple II laser graphics software and drivers for use in the C64 back in 1983-84, though. Thanks for sharing.

That's weird. I must admit I scraped the text out of a post I did on FB. But the file is actually on my own server at http://laserboy.org/stuff/Ode_To_64.mp3 That should work! Let me know.

That's a really good price. Put me down for two (at least). I'm pretty much a complete Scannermax environment at this point sans a couple pending upgrades, but I want to upgrade some of my existing C-506's with 12V amps or 'redboard amps' to MachDSP. Once you go to a good digital amp, you...

When I was young I had endless enthusiasm and not much money. Now I am older and I have money but not as much enthusiasm. I guess that was part of the challenge though. I always tried to go beyond expectations with what little I had to work with.

That's pretty cool. I only had a TRS-80 Model I so I was pretty limited to sounds. I did play around with early wav files back then by recording voice through the tape recorder input into memory and then playing it back. It sounded pretty horrible since it was filtered to something like 3000...

For all of the Commodore 64 fans. I made this recording right after I got my Fostex A8 1/4 inch open reel 8 track tape machine in 1986. If you know about the C64 you probably know about its SID sound chip. I wrote an app that allowed me to poke values into the SID register addresses. I...

Is there a good tutorial anywhere on using LSX to create beamshows? I'm only doing beamshows at the moment so the other stuff is superfluous and confuses me. Total beginner here.

... its a pulsed fiberlaser @1064nm and up to 10kW pulse peak power (200ns pulse-length, 20kHz PWM, 20W max. averaged), so a complete different "world" But can be surpassed by CW fiberlasers in terms of "damage" -- have some with CW/QCW powers of 50, 60 and 85Watts, what's not this pulse...

That's awesome! What wavelength is that? I have an 80W sealed co2 but have not really attempted steel as I think the absorption wavelength of steel is far lower than 10.6μm. The way I have done steel/aluminum is paint, laser etch the paint, and then electro-etch the metal and strip the paint. ...
