I so wanna fix it with a new module but that's a matter of waiting and time. For now ill settle for it and be careful with my use of reds with this laser module :desire: I really think beam brush made this so much more organic and filling and this was just an 8 hour job. Working on much more in...

My journey is now complete, for now! Guess upgraded (better) lasers are next as well as properly wiring saftey key and the like. The scannermax scanners are 1000 times better than the original scanners in the laser. Thanks for all who have helped this novice hobbyist along through the process and...

Interesting. When I printed in vase mode, it was clear. In fact, I have made fiber optic with it (lossy but still carried light).

Hey Ron, I think I remember using the keypad, but I could be wrong. I agree the ADIG was a dog. (Sorry...) (Greg, the ADIG was in a 2U bud box under the hybrid card cage in the control console.) Originally the entire board (yes S100) had +5/gnd dasychained to every chip from a single point. I...

I used that in a prusa. Comes out milky. Could not clear it. The only printer I could clear was formlabs liquid printer. THAT is sticky mess.

Thanks for the long lasting chuckle, Ron. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is my go to deity on the occasions that Tolkein doesn't serve up a contextually appropriate Ainur. I was actually eating Mr Noodle when I read your comment, so your blessing was potent. Can't stop laughing. I notice that that...

On Facebook, PJ posted his work perhaps 3 weeks ago, and Mike Dunn's more recently. I figured some people here on PL might not have seen them, so I'd re-post them here. Yes indeed. So far you've only seen a few of these released, because some were submitted for ILDA Awards, and people...

Brian, To my knowledge, the ADIG keypad was never implemented. At least mine was never used for anything. Just a waste of panel space. And speaking of a waste, in my opinion, the ADIG was one of the singular worst pieces of equipment ever installed by Laser Images. Definitely the most unreliable...

There weren't enough 351 bits available for all the different Dog stuff, so there were three switches added to the remote panel - two switches to select between 4 posibilities and one switch that inverted y axis output. The 352 card was introduced to distill the 3 - 351 decoder boards down to one...

I have only used it for plexi and no it doesn't soak in. It is also just a quick shot at the surface. not a 20 min soak. frankly I do better by hand.

... does the solvent not soak into the material? When "vapor-polishing" ABS with Acetone you have to temper and vent it for some weeks, until it's "original" ABS again  Viktor
