If you didn't mind screwing with the logo a bit, a 5 point holographic grating @45 degrees could do the complex font in one pass. You'd need a second laser for the simple fonts, or cut the grating to allow the simple fonts to miss. Or a smoking fast actuator for the grating would work too...

One final option might be to try scanning this as a raster image. Otherwise, I agree that you'll need to simply the logo DRAMATICALY if you want to scan it as a vector image. Adam

See what I did to the Letter "F"? Do that to the rest of the letters. Keep your scan angle down when programming, to match the actual throw distance to the image. I emptied out the letter and sealed it so the auto-trace only sees the outer perimeter. Steve

Or break it into parts. Main logo spins up, dims out, then web address is displayed,, dims out, then scroll text across. Repeat I would eliminate many of the horizontal bands in the main text. Steve

that logo is way too complex for laser projection. you either need to drastically reduce the complexity or scan it across multiple projectors.

If you have questions, just ask. There are quite a few things to know that could save you a lot of time and give you better results.

You could make a copy of any of the fonts that are there, name it something else and only have to draw the letters you use in the logo. The font rendering system in LaserBoy will position the glyphs.

You can render vector fonts into a frame with LaserBoy. You might not get exactly that logo, but you will probably be able to read it when projected.

I've never used the whiteboard feature either, but there are several ways to have people participate in a group meeting with a shared document. Worse case, you can either share your screen, or just point your webcam at an actual whiteboard in the room. :) But yeah, I'm sure we can figure things...

@mixedgas I have a Helios Laser DAC and a Riya Lite (USB) interface. No access to an EtherDream. Anything other than the aforementioned two are flying blind.

I have always used die4drives. I still have a bunch of blank boards (that I am not selling). The schematic is available from http://www.die4laser.com/dvd-rec/Die4Drive.htm in case anyone wants to DIY their own. It doesn't have the features that some have but I have been very happy.

Hobby grade analog drivers if you can find them, that won't kill your diodes , are un-obtainium right now. It's Ukraine-Russia thing. The good ones came from. Russia. Second choice is Poland, but 150$ and. Shipping to mod that 100$ module puts you squarely in the W1000 price range. Peace
