Bayer filter or Math issue?
Quick question: With a fair amount of yellow lasers your CMOS cameras often fail to see the yellow and show it as green.
I always thought it was because the red channel on a bayer filter is simply not passing anything to the red part of the sensor and thus it's green.
Lately I've been told im wrong and it's actually because of color calibration in cameras not being done for these really specific/narrow wavelenghts and thus colors are processed wrong.
What is the actual answer?
