the first pic shows what broke apart.. i think the shiny silver thing on the right is some sort of IR diode... that needs to be replaced (i think)
OK That is a 1.2 watter, my guess, in a "C" mount. It probably has a fast axis correction lens also. I would pick one up off e-bay or junktronix if I were to give it new life. You should be able to get some green out of it again. Do some research on Sam's Laser faq. That will help a lot. Or you can sell it for parts and use the funds to get another laser..... The tube is the otpics holder and was glued on. If you have had a TEC failure..reason the tube fell off from heat...it's prolly not worth repairing.
NOT a tec failure, of that im sure.. i popped it off accidentally..
could you send me a link to the SAM area i should be looking, his FAQs are ginormous.
