Hello folks, I just wanted to take a few minutes and give an update regarding my online store. After much consideration, I've decided to close it down. With the latest addition to my family and the new responsibilities I've taken on at work, I am just not able to devote the time required to maintain quality customer service. I have been sold out of breakout boards and color boards for a few weeks now and just haven't had the time to do anything about it. I'm always left with a sick feeling having to tell folks I'm out of something and they'll have to wait. So until I can find the time to adaquetly run the operation, it's going to be toast. I've also decided to give up being the distributor for the DT-Series scanners. Fortunately, the DT scanners will still be available from a local US distributor! CTLasers is going to be the new US distributor, I couldn't think of a better, more well positioned person to continue to support Jian of DT and the many customers that use the scanners.

Lastly, I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who has purchased from my store. Your support, initially of the breakout board, is what led to everything else. I still have some stock left on the shelf and may be able to fill small requests.

You do realize the laser stuff store was going to be the easier of the two jobs, right? It is sad to see such an honest and quality buisness go out but at least it is for good reasons.

I am guessing he will be the proud new owner of a copier and you will have rights to produce both them and the breakout boards...? maybe?

Actually, it's his second child. This one is a boy. But having 2 kids is a lot more work than just one. (Been there...) While I'm sad to see the store close, I'm certain that Marc at CTLasers will be able to take up the slack. He's already a great source for lasers here in the US. Now he's a great source for scanners too!

And who knows? Maybe in a year or two David will discover that he misses all the time he used to spend with his soldering iron... But I completely understand his need to open up some more free time in his very busy schedule for now.

So long as he still comes to the LEM's, I'm cool with it!

Congratulations to you and your family. While I shall lament the loss of your talents, it is good to know they're being used for a better purpose.
